    My husband who’s left me has stayed friends w/ me but refuse to discuss the negotiations on the issues we had. He said, there is no point because it’s OVER and I should just accept he is NOT coming back. He said he wants his space and peace of mind and commitment (esp to me) cannot give him that. He said he’d rather be single and I should forget about him and find someone else who could love me the way I deserve.

    I have now established being friends with my ex-husband. He has moved out of the house already so our meetings are quite limited (only at work) but he invites me for the occasional tea. However, he keeps on stressing out that we are over, that I should accept we are ALREADY separated and he is NEVER coming back. He said that regrets our marriage altogether and he said he was completely devastated he doesn’t want to do commitments. He likes me as a friend though. Am I on the right track?

    I hope I have seen this video 3 days earlier when my husband just left me. I was so panicked that I scared him into breaking up with me permanently. But now, I tried the step back approach and it was actually a step forward. It’s still so difficult being alone but I’m not showing that to him.

    Play it cool. This is the stage where you don’t want to ask him to come back to you. If you do you will scare him away. Simply be polite and start rebuilding communication. He will call again if you don’t put pressure on him I promise ! ;-)
